Ores:
Metals are
found in the earth’s crust in the form of mixtures of metal carbonates, metal
oxides called ores. Metals are extracted from these ores to meet the industrial
demands.
The
technique of these extractions depends on the position of the metal in the
reactivity series.

It is
important to note that ores are finite sources of metal on earth, therefore, metals
in any form, must be recycled to lesser the strain on metal extraction and the
earth.
